Terms of Service

The rules for using the RyoProxy platform: what the service is, what you are responsible for, and how access can be suspended.

last updated: 2026-09-02en

Legal documents are published in English only. Translations elsewhere on this site are provided for convenience; the English text governs.

1. Agreement

These terms govern access to the RyoProxy platform: this website, the operator dashboard, the backend API and the agent software. By creating an account or deploying an agent you accept them.

2. What the service is

RyoProxy is management software for MikroTik RouterOS infrastructure. It configures routers, PPPoE lines, proxy ports, tunnels and VPN peers that you own or are authorised to administer. We do not supply internet access, IP addresses or connectivity.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must own the routers and network lines you manage through the platform, or hold written authorisation from their owner.
  • You are responsible for the lawfulness of all traffic that transits your infrastructure and for compliance with your ISP's terms.
  • You must keep licence keys, API keys and account credentials secret, and rotate them immediately if they leak.
  • You must not use the platform to attack, scan or disrupt networks you do not control, to commit fraud, or to process traffic that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.

4. Accounts and access

Access is role-based. Administrators can create, assign and revoke agents and keys. Actions taken with your credentials are attributed to you; the platform keeps an audit log of configuration changes.

5. Availability

We aim for high availability of the hosted control plane but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Self-hosted deployments are operated entirely by you.

6. Suspension

We may suspend an account or agent that abuses the platform, endangers other users, or violates section 3 β€” immediately where the risk is severe, otherwise after notice.

7. Intellectual property

The platform, its source code and its documentation remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them for the term of your subscription or licence.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or damage caused by your own network configuration, your ISP, or third-party services the platform integrates with.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes are announced through the dashboard or by email.
